Yes, my G.I. Joe was ready for duty. He had the deck commander set, the firefighting suit, the space capsule. See those kids in the commercial? That was me —even if I didn’t have a pool in my living room.
The announcer was right: G.I. Joe was the greatest.

One of my best Christmas memories was my brother and I getting this. We had to share it, but we had four Joe’s each and come spring.. it made many a splashdown from the garage roof to the 3 and a half foot deep above ground in the backyard.
The best part: if you got one of these, it’s major money.. but I don’t think I’d ever sell.
